Thank you for downloading the Harmon Cyberscan 2000 audio kit. This kit contains a collection of .wav audio files to make your own custom defect detector messages for a model railroad or a train simulator.

Most of the audio from this kit was provided by Josh Osmialowski with editing by Nick O'Dell. The entrance tone was provided by John Peterson.

Sample recordings from real detectors have been provided to help arrange & time the vocabulary accurately. These sample recordings were provided by Bill Grooms, Bostic Area Railroads (Broadcastify), John Peterson, Kevin Nelson, and Nick O'Dell.

Only the letters 'A', 'M', and 'T' are present in this audio kit - this is not by mistake, these were the only letters present in the EPROM from which the audio was recorded. As far as we know, they serve no purpose in real world use, but are included for the sake of completeness.

If you intend to make custom defect detector messages for distribution, we do ask that you please note that the audio was created from this audio kit and is not representative of an actual recorded radio transmission.
